One of DALI's trademarks is an extremely smooth and wide horizontal high frequency dispersed sound, achieved by using a dome and ribbon tweeter combination. While a dome tweeter will provide excellent flat on-axis frequency sound, it will not be flat as you move off-axis or away from your primary listening position. To solve this problem, DALI also uses a ribbon tweeter that is excellent at reproducing high frequencies off-axis. Pairing a soft dome and a ribbon tweeter generates consistently clear sound across a much wider listening area.
2. Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) - Reduce distortion
DALI uses its patented Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) in the pole piece of the woofer magnet motor system in each of its speaker lines.
